Our client is a global leader in manufacturing and gas handling solutions across sectors including power generation, oil and gas, waste water, metals, mining, infrastructure and transport.

Due to growth, we are seeking a HR Business Partner to join their team in for a 12 month contract. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will play a key role in partnering with leaders across the business to drive people strategies, support organisational growth, and foster a positive workplace culture.

The successful candidate will provide expert HR advice and support across employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and change management initiatives.

The role:

- Partner with managers and business leaders to provide strategic and operational HR support.
- Advise and coach managers on employee relations matters, performance management, and disciplinary processes.
- Support workforce planning, succession planning, and talent management initiatives.
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and organisational development programs.
- Manage and assist with recruitment and onboarding activities as required.
- Provide guidance on employment legislation, policies, procedures, and best practice HR principles.
- Analyse HR metrics and provide recommendations to improve workforce performance and productivity.
- Investigate and resolve workplace issues, grievances, and misconduct matters.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with management to create a positive and inclusive workplace culture.




- Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation and relevant employment regulations.

What we're looking for:

- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in a Human Resources Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor, or similar HR role.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Experience managing employee relations, performance management, and workplace investigations.
- Demonstrated ability to build solid stakeholder relationships at all levels.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with experience interpreting HR data and metrics.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Current knowledge of Fair Work legislation and employment practices.
