About the Position

- Design and deliver urban development, subdivision, council, and commercial site projects.

- Produce detailed models and documentation for stormwater, drainage, and road infrastructure.

- Work closely with local councils, authorities, and project stakeholders to secure approvals.

- Collaborate directly with a Newcastle Principal Civil Engineer to manage project workflows.

Key Responsibilities Include

- Complete detailed civil designs utilising Civil 3D or 12D software packages.

- Prepare comprehensive stormwater management strategies and site layout plans.

- Coordinate engineering submissions to meet council design guidelines and Australian standards.

- Conduct site inspections and provide technical input during construction phases.

Skills and Experience Required

- Hold a Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.





- Demonstrate 3 to 8 years of post-graduate experience within Australian civil consulting.

- Proficiency in Civil 3D or 12D software for land development and infrastructure design.

- Strong knowledge of local Newcastle and Hunter region council planning frameworks.

- Proven background in subdivisions, road design, and stormwater management systems.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and team coordination.
