Role Description
This is a multi-faceted role combining customer service, logistics and warehouse duties.
You’ll be the link between customers, the sales team, warehouse and delivery operations, ensuring orders are processed accurately and customers receive a high level of service from enquiry through to delivery.
It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being involved in different parts of the business and wants to build a broader career across sales and operations. For the right candidate, there is genuine opportunity to progress into senior sales or operation paths within the business over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming sales enquiries, quotes and customer orders
- Build strong relationships with trade, builder and commercial customers
- Coordinate dispatch, deliveries and daily logistics requirements
- Work closely with warehouse and delivery teams to ensure orders run smoothly
- Assist with stock coordination and inventory management
- Support the Branch Manager with daily operations and customer requirements
- Coordinate and provide direction to warehouse staff when required
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, service and efficiency
- Ensure orders are accurately processed and delivered on time
- Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety and operational standards
Role Requirements
- Previous experience in internal sales, customer service, logistics or warehouse coordination
- Experience within construction, building products or a related industry will be highly regarded
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confident using computer systems and processing orders
- A hands-on approach with the ability to work across both office and warehouse environments
- Reliable, proactive and willing to take ownership
- Leadership or warehouse supervision experience would be advantageous
Salary and Benefits
Base $70k - $75k + 12% Super
