Our JBCFC is a 59-placement Aboriginal Childcare Centre and has a workforce of a full-time Aboriginal Centre Director, 1 Early Childhood Teacher ECT), I Study for ECT and employs in total 20 Educators and other staff, in both permanent and casual positions, including a cook and bus driver.

The JBCFC main aim is to support Aboriginal Jarjums, their Families and the Community as a licensed Centre under Bunjum’s Aboriginal Cultural Lens Framework.

Our vision and philosophy is predominant within the Centres and reflects the EYLF programming of embedding local Aboriginal Culture and harnessing Jarjums, their families and the local Community Culture, enriching Cultural Identity and supporting Jarjums to grow, reach their full potential and be robust black and deadly! We do this by working together with our Jarjums, Goori Families, and Community to ensure that Jarjums are immersed in a safe nurturing environment.
