About the role

MOURITZ is seeking an experienced Residential Sales Consultant with a proven record of sales success to join our established team.

As a family-owned and operated Western Australian business, MOURITZ has been helping homeowners with their air conditioning needs for almost 50 years.

Our extensive customer base, personal recommendations and long-standing reputation continue to generate solid demand and a growing volume of qualified residential sales opportunities.

We're looking for an accomplished sales professional who is ready to step into an established role, work with qualified customers and make an immediate contribution.

You'll manage qualified residential sales opportunities across the Perth metropolitan area. This is a sales consultancy role focused on meeting homeowners, understanding their requirements, recommending the right solution, building relationships and converting qualified opportunities into sales.

You won't be expected to manage every aspect of the project yourself—dedicated supporting departments are responsible for detailed system design, installation coordination and scheduling, administration and account payments.

Key responsibilities

- Conducting professional in-home customer consultations

- Identifying customer needs, priorities and budget requirements

- Recommending solutions appropriate to the customer's home and requirements

- Preparing and presenting professional quotations and proposals

- Managing customer questions, objections and the decision-making process

- Progressing opportunities from initial consultation through to completed sale

- Managing your sales pipeline and working towards agreed sales and conversion targets





- Building trust and developing long-term customer relationships

- Maintaining accurate customer and opportunity records within our CRM

- Working collaboratively with our supporting departments to deliver a seamless customer experience

About you

- Proven success in residential, in-home or consultative sales

- A demonstrated history of achieving or exceeding sales targets

- Strong consultative selling and closing skills

- Experience converting qualified customer enquiries into sales

- Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills

- The ability to quickly establish trust and credibility

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

- A genuine customer-first mindset

- Strong commercial awareness

- An organised, self-motivated and professional approach

- An entrepreneurial mindset with ownership and accountability for results

- Strong computer literacy and experience using CRM systems

- A current Australian driver's licence
