About the role

We are looking for Residential Care Officer to work with our participants within the community and Supported Independent Living Homes. The successful applicants will work across a range of services. We are seeking people who have a genuine desire to support people with disabilities who have varied support needs across different services. You will be providing opportunities for our participants to experience life and achieve goals through learning current skills and participating in social and recreational activities. We have a wide range of shifts available across a seven-day roster, so shifts are flexible and so are we.

Key responsibilities

- Identifying specific challenges through client interviews and tailoring support to meet individual needs.

- Monitoring and reporting on client progress.

- Conducting thorough assessments to identify the specific needs of each client.

- Determining the type of additional support required to address their challenges effectively.

- Collaborating with a network of agencies and organisations to ensure clients are connected to the most appropriate resources.





- Facilitating seamless transitions and maintaining communication to support ongoing care.

- Planning, developing, and implementing educational, training, and support programs tailored to client needs.

- Preparing submissions for funding and resources, as well as reports for government bodies and other agencies.

About you

- Drivers License

- First Aid/CPR Certificate

- National Police Check

- At least 2 years of relevant experience required for this role.

- Minimum of Certificate IV or Diploma in Disability, Aged Care or Individual Support.

- Manual Handling Training

- NDIS Worker Orientation Module – Quality, Safety & You

- NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC)

- The Right to Work in Australia

- COVID-19 Double Vaccination Certification
