We are looking for a qualified Chef or Cook to join our friendly kitchen team.

Set beside the Tamar River, with views of Kings Bridge and Cataract Gorge, Boatyard is a popular dining destination that celebrates fresh Tasmanian produce. This is an opportunity to bring your skills to an experienced team and help shape Boatyard’s next chapter.

About the role

In this full-time position, you’ll prepare and deliver quality food with consistency and pride. You’ll work across weekdays, evenings and weekends, helping the kitchen run smoothly through both preparation and busy services.

What we’re looking for

- A qualified Chef or Cook with at least two years’ experience in a similar role

- Solid food safety, hygiene and presentation standards

- Someone reliable, organised and able to stay focused during busy service





- A positive team member who enjoys learning and developing their skills

- Availability across weekdays, evenings and weekends

Experience using kitchen management systems for ordering, stocktaking, cost management or performance analysis is preferred. We’re willing to train the right person in these areas.
