We have a permanent full-time opportunity available for a Clinical Nurse supporting our clients within the Gold Coast region.

Your Role

Our team is seeking an experienced and highly capable Clinical Nurse to support clinical governance, quality and compliance activities across our Community Care service.

Reporting to the Clinical & Care Partnering Manager, this role is focused on providing clinical guidance, oversight and support to ensure the delivery of protected, person-centred and high-quality care. This is a predominantly office-based position with a strong focus on clinical governance, quality, compliance, case management support and continuous improvement, rather than the provision of direct nursing care.

Working closely with operational and clinical teams, you will support the management of complex and high-risk client matters, participate in multidisciplinary team case conferences, undertake clinical reviews and audits, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, assist with client intake and assessments, and provide clinical recommendations to support best-practice care delivery.

You will play an integral role in supporting clinical governance, risk management and continuous improvement activities, ensuring clinical practice aligns with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, relevant legislation and regulatory requirements, organisational policies and evidence-based best-practice guidelines.

Role Requirements

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).




- Demonstrated nursing experience within aged care and/or community care.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated experience supporting the assessment and management of complex and high-risk client presentations.
- Sound knowledge of clinical governance, quality systems, incident management, risk management and continuous quality improvement.
- Experience undertaking clinical reviews, audits, compliance activities and documentation assessments.
- Experience participating in case management, care planning and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- The ability to analyse clinical information and provide practical recommendations to support quality care outcomes.
- Experience in community aged care is highly desirable.
- Current Criminal History Check.
- Current CPR Certificate.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills with the ability to confidently use client management and clinical systems.
