The Insurance Commission of Western Australia is a state-owned Government Trading Enterprise that provides motor injury insurance to 2.7 million Western Australian motorists and manages the self-insurance arrangements of the Western Australian Government. The Insurance Commission is a major self-funded statutory authority at the heart of the Western Australian community.

The Opportunity

Applications are invited for the position of Enterprise Architect.

Reporting to the Head of Architecture and Delivery, you will play a pivotal leadership role in aligning business strategy, technology investments and enterprise capabilities to deliver sustainable outcomes and long-term value. You will provide trusted advice to executive stakeholders, establish architecture governance and standards, and drive the development of future-state architecture roadmaps across business, data, application and technology domains.

This is an exciting opportunity to influence strategic decision-making, guide digital transformation initiatives, foster innovation, and build a mature enterprise architecture practice within a purpose-driven organisation that serves the Western Australian community. You will lead a team of architects and work collaboratively across business and technology functions to deliver secure, scalable and future-focused technology outcomes.

The Insurance Commission will offer a five-year contract with a competitive remuneration package to attract an outstanding candidate.

About You

You are a strategic thinker and accomplished architecture leader with demonstrated experience developing and implementing enterprise architecture frameworks, principles, standards and roadmaps within complex organisations. You have a proven ability to translate business strategy into practical architecture outcomes and influence executive stakeholders on technology direction, investment priorities and architectural trade-offs.

Your expertise spans multiple architecture domains, including business, data, applications, integration, cloud, infrastructure, security and emerging technologies. You bring strong governance capability, experience optimising technology portfolios,



and a track record of leading architectural transformation and organisational capability uplift.

You will bring:

- Relevant tertiary or industry qualification.

- Significant experience in enterprise architecture leadership within a complex technology environment.

- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at executive level.

- Experience establishing architecture governance and guiding strategic technology decisions.

- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive enterprise-wide transformation outcomes.
