About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst to support a major Northern Territory Government digital transformation initiative. This role will provide end-to-end testing capability across a complex, multi-year ICT program and will play a critical role in ensuring solutions are delivered to a high standard of quality, performance, and reliability.

This position is aligned to the Electronic Rostering Program, making it an excellent opportunity for candidates who have previously worked on electronic rostering, workforce management, payroll, HRIS, scheduling, time and attendance, or enterprise workforce transformation projects. Candidates with direct experience testing rostering platforms, payroll integrations, workforce systems,



and complex enterprise integrations will be highly regarded.

The successful candidate will work closely with Test Managers, Project Managers, business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to plan, execute, and manage testing activities across multiple systems and project phases. The role requires strong expertise in manual and automated testing, integration testing, defect management, stakeholder engagement, and quality assurance practices.

Required Clearances: NT PF166 and National Police Check (NPC).

Essential Skills and Experience

- Minimum 5 years' experience working as a Senior Test Analyst within medium to large ICT projects.
- Demonstrated experience developing Test Strategies, Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scripts, and Test Reports.
- Solid experience across System Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Production Verification Testing (PVT), and Regression Testing.
- Experience coordinating UAT with business stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts and automation regression suites using SmartBear TestComplete.




- Experience automating integration test scenarios across multiple systems, interfaces, APIs, databases, and file-based integrations.
- Strong experience using JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, Zephyr, or similar.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in data validation and ensuring data integrity across integrated systems.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and leadership skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Highly Desirable Skills Experience

- Previous experience working on Electronic Rostering Programs,
- Workforce Management Systems, Time & Attendance solutions, Payroll systems, or HRIS platforms.
- Experience testing enterprise workforce transformation projects involving complex business rules and multiple Enterprise Agreements.
- Previous experience within large-scale Government or public sector digital transformation programs.
- Experience working within structured SDLC environments.
- ISTQB Certification or equivalent testing qualification.
- Experience with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter.
