Key Responsibilities

- Be proficient in the safe application, handling, mixing, and storage of chemicals.

- Identify a variety of weed species and apply appropriate treatments to effectively manage and control growth.

- Operating and maintaining vehicles, plant and equipment used for spraying chemicals.

- Maintain precise and up-to-date spray records.

- Ensure the safe and effective handling of chemicals, in compliance with regulations.

- Manage waste disposal and ensure all work areas are left clean and tidy.

What you need

- Chemical Users accreditation (ChemCert or ACUP).

- A Cert III Horticulture or Cert III Turf Management or Certificate in Trade or relevant qualification in chemical spraying.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety standards.

- Previous experience in open spaces or horticultural roles preferred.

- The ability to work as part of a team, with a willingness to work outdoors.

- Excellent time management skills and strong work ethic.

- National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain).

- Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain.

- A legal right to work in Australia.
