About the prospect:

We are partnering with a growing insurance organisation to recruit a Claims Specialist to join their Perth-based Property Claims team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit, energetic team with big personalities and a genuinely positive culture. The team has welcomed a number of fresh faces and there is a strong focus on developing people internally, with future pathways into Senior Claims Specialist positions, emerging leadership opportunities and broader roles across the organisation.

The Role:
As a Claims Specialist, you will manage a portfolio of landlord and residential property insurance claims from lodgement through to settlement.

Your portfolio will predominantly cover landlord policies, contents, tenant damage and tenant default claims, with limited building claims. You will typically manage around 100 active claims, working closely with property managers, landlords, tenants and external service providers.

You will assess: policy coverage, liability and quantum within your delegated authority, investigate claims, maintain accurate documentation and proactively manage each claim through to resolution. Just as importantly, you will be the key point of contact for your customers and stakeholders,



keeping them informed and clearly explaining decisions throughout the claims process.

About You:
We are looking for someone with at least 1-2 years' experience within domestic property claims or a closely related insurance environment. Experience across landlord, residential property, contents or strata claims would be particularly relevant.

You will be comfortable managing your own portfolio, confident making decisions within delegated authority and able to balance customer outcomes with policy, compliance and commercial considerations.

Strong communication, organisation and time management skills are important, but attitude and aptitude are equally valued. You will be someone who takes ownership, enjoys being part of a team and genuinely wants to continue developing their career within insurance.

What's On Offer:

- $80,000 + super
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
- Hybrid working with three days in the Perth CBD office and two days from home
