A leading Facilities Management organisation is seeking an experienced Facilities Account Manager to join their Melbourne CBD team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is an excellent chance for an experienced Facilities Management skilled who enjoys managing key client relationships, driving service excellence and taking ownership of contract performance across a national Facilities Maintenance portfolio.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring contractual commitments are delivered, operational performance is maintained and clients receive exceptional service outcomes.

About the Role

Based in the Melbourne CBD office, this is a hands-on account management position with occasional travel required.

You will act as the trusted point of contact for key clients, working closely with internal Service Delivery teams to manage operational performance, commercial outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing and strengthening key client relationships across a national Facilities Maintenance portfolio
- Acting as the primary escalation point for contractual, operational and service-related matters
- Managing contract performance against SLAs, KPIs and agreed service commitments
- Preparing and presenting monthly client reports covering financial and operational performance
- Managing client budgets, expenditure and cost efficiencies
- Supporting invoicing processes and resolving financial discrepancies
- Working closely with internal Service Delivery teams to ensure contractual obligations are achieved
- Leading and supporting operational teams to deliver agreed outcomes
- Monitoring compliance, safety and risk requirements across client engagements
- Supporting asset reporting, maintenance planning and improvement initiatives




- Identifying opportunities to improve service delivery, processes and customer experience
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the account

About You

We are looking for an experienced Facilities Management professional who combines robust client relationship skills with commercial and operational capability.

You will ideally have:

- Proven experience within the Facilities Management industry
- Previous experience managing FM contracts, client accounts or service delivery portfolios
- Strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance operations and service delivery
- Experience managing SLAs, KPIs and contractual obligations
- Strong commercial understanding including budgets, expenditure and cost efficiencies
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
- Solid reporting, analytical and problem-solving capability
- Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and internal teams
- A proactive, professional and customer-focused approach
