The purpose of this role is to provide knowledgeable, friendly and productive service to customers, assisting them with tyre repairs, maintenance and replacement needs. The successful applicant will support daily store operations, including booking appointments, preparing quotes, ordering and controlling stock, generating invoices and processing payments.
Key responsibilities
- Assist customers in identifying their tyre and wheel needs, answer questions and make suitable product recommendations.
- Provide professional, courteous and timely service in person and over the phone.
- Prepare quotes, generate invoices and process accurate customer payments.
- Organise and book customer appointments as required.
- Assist with stock ordering, stock control and general store processes.
- Perform tyre fitting duties when required, including repairs, wheel balancing and wheel alignments.
- Complete day-end procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate customer records and provide reports on actions and activities as required.
- Meet and exceed set KPIs.
- Inspect and assess warranty enquiries as required.
- Able to work alternate Saturdays
About you
- Previous experience in sales, retail or customer service, preferably within the tyre, automotive or mechanical industry.
- Experience as a tyre salesperson, tyre fitter, service coordinator, automotive retail assistant or similar is highly regarded.
- Robust communication skills and the ability to build positive customer relationships.
- Confidence using computer systems for bookings, quotes, invoices and customer records.
- A valid and current manual driver's licence.
- A reliable, team-focused attitude with a willingness to learn and support store operations.
