About the role
We are seeking a warm, organised and service-focused Client Services Officer to support the smooth day-to-day operation of our retirement living community. Reporting to the Retirement Village Manager, you will be a trusted first point of contact for residents, families, visitors and service providers, while delivering responsive reception, administration, resident support and sales assistance.
This is a part time role worked on site.
Why you'll enjoy this role
- Build genuine relationships with residents and help create a safe, connected and thriving community.
- Enjoy a varied role combining customer service, administration, resident support and community activities.
- Work closely with the Village Manager and a supportive team committed to quality, care and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to a purpose-led organisation guided by Christian ethos, excellence, respect, care, equity and stewardship.
Key responsibilities
- Provide a professional, welcoming reception service and respond to enquiries in person, by phone and in writing.
- Support residents and families with day-to-day enquiries, new resident onboarding and community activities.
- Maintain accurate resident records, registers, correspondence, newsletters and confidential files.
- Log maintenance requests, coordinate contractor access and help keep village operations running efficiently.
- Assist with accounts, payroll administration, meeting minutes, mail, bookings and office supplies.
- Manage sales enquiries, maintain enquiry records and conduct village tours when required.
- Follow workplace health and safety, privacy, regulatory and organisational requirements.
About you
- You communicate with empathy, clarity and professionalism, particularly when working with older Australians and their families.
- You bring strong customer service and administration experience, ideally from a service-based environment.
- You are confident using Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with CRM or resident management systems such as Village Master is an advantage.
- You are organised, dependable and able to balance competing priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
- You remain calm and resourceful when responding to urgent operational issues or resident concerns.
- Experience in sales, marketing or public relations, and a qualification in office administration, will be highly regarded.
- You are comfortable supporting the Christian ethos, mission and values of the organisation.
