We’re looking for an enthusiastic Instructional Designer to join our team at our Brisbane head office!

About the role

As our Instructional Designer, you’ll play an important role in creating practical, engaging learning experiences for property professionals.

You’ll use your instructional design expertise and understanding of adult learning principles to develop high-quality educational content across a range of formats, including face-to-face, virtual, eLearning and blended learning.

Working closely with colleagues and stakeholders, you’ll help turn learning needs into purposeful, accessible learning solutions that build capability and support the ongoing career development of Queensland’s real estate profession.

Your day may include:

- Developing high-quality e-learning modules and learning and assessment resources for accredited and non-accredited training programs

- Applying adult learning and instructional design principles to create engaging,



purposeful and effective educational materials

- Supporting the development of learning pathways and education programs aligned with organisational goals and requirements

- Uploading, maintaining and updating learning and assessment materials within the Learning Management System and other learning software

- Ensuring learning content and Learning Management System administration align with relevant standards and best practices

- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify learning needs and develop solutions that address capability gaps and business requirements

- Evaluating learning programs and resources, using feedback and emerging instructional design practices to continuously improve learning solutions

Our ideal new addition will have:

- Experience in instructional design and development of training programs

- Strong Understanding of adult learning principles and best practices

- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to design and implement learning solutions

- Excellent computer skills with an advanced level proficiency in creating documents and spreadsheets and a working knowledge of computer applications including Outlook and Microsoft 365 & Office packages

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

- High level of attention to detail

- Enjoy working within a team environment
