9 day fortnight | No evenings or weekends | Commencing 2027

Harris Dental is looking for an enthusiastic Oral Health Therapist to join our friendly, established private practice in beautiful Esperance, Western Australia.

This is a full-time salaried position working a 9-day fortnight, with no evenings and no weekends. Salary is $120,000–$135,000 + super, depending on experience, with relocation assistance considered for the right applicant.

Our principal dentist works alongside the team and has 35 years of clinical experience, including 28 years practising in Esperance. During that time, he has mentored many graduate Oral Health Therapists and dentists and genuinely enjoys helping younger clinicians develop their skills and confidence.

You'll also work closely with our second dentist, who is around four years into his career and works collaboratively with our OHT. For a current graduate, this means having support from both a highly experienced mentor and a younger dentist who more recently made the transition from university into everyday clinical practice.

You won't be expected to arrive and figure everything out on your own. Mentoring, collaboration and discussing cases are part of everyday practice at Harris Dental.

The role

You'll have an established patient base and work across preventive, periodontal and restorative care within your scope, with a strong focus on patient education, prevention and building long-term relationships with patients.

We're looking for someone who is warm, professional and genuinely enjoys patient care and being part of a team.

You may be an experienced OHT looking for a lifestyle change, or a new graduate looking for the right practice in which to begin your career.

You'll need an appropriate Oral Health Therapy qualification and current AHPRA registration, or be eligible for registration before commencing employment.
