Our fundraising program is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Donor Care Coordinator to join our Marketing, Fundraising and Partnerships team.

A chance to make your mark

This is a little different from stepping into a long-established donor care role.

You’ll be joining us at an exciting stage in our fundraising journey, with the opportunity to bring your experience and ideas to how we welcome, thank, engage and care for our supporters.

You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day donor experience and administration, working closely with our Fundraising and Philanthropy Manager to support appeals, campaigns and engagement activities that strengthen relationships and help grow our fundraising.

Importantly, we’re also exploring a new CRM and fundraising technology to support our future growth. If you understand fundraising platforms, donor databases and what good donor data and processes look like, we want you to bring that experience to the table.

You’ll have a genuine opportunity to contribute to how our systems, processes and supporter journeys evolve. It’s a rare chance to help get things right from the outset, rather than simply inherit the way things have always been done.

What you will be doing:

- Provide warm, responsive and professional donor care, coordinating acknowledgements, communications and supporter enquiries
- Maintain accurate donor records, preferences and fundraising data to support great donor experiences
- Support fundraising appeals, campaigns, events, tours and engagement activities
- Help identify opportunities to strengthen donor stewardship, engagement and supporter journeys




- Administer and coordinate our corporate volunteering program, including enquiries and bookings
- Bring your fundraising systems experience to improving our processes and ways of working, including our exploration and introduction of new CRM technology.

About you:

We’re looking for someone who understands fundraising and donor care and is excited by the opportunity to help a growing program reach its potential.

You’ll ideally bring:

- Experience in fundraising, donor care or a similar not-for-profit fundraising environment, with a good understanding of donor stewardship and what makes a great supporter experience.
- Experience using fundraising platforms, CRMs or donor management systems, with confidence working with donor data, processes and systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a warm, professional and relationship-focused approach.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail, with pride in getting the little things right.
- Curiosity, initiative and confidence to contribute ideas and suggest better ways of doing things.
- A collaborative approach and genuine enthusiasm for making a difference, with the ability to build positive relationships across a team.

We do want someone who understands fundraising, is comfortable with technology and can bring experience, ideas and good practice to the conversation.
