SunSmart Sunshine Coast has an exciting opportunity an experienced Solar and Battery Installer. This full time role is based in Warana and will involve the installation and maintenance of residential and commercial systems across the Sunshine Coast region.
What you'll be doing
Safely install and commission solar PV systems and batteries according to industry standards and regulations
Undertake solar panel, inverter and battery installations, including mounting, cabling and connection to the electrical grid
Perform routine maintenance and fault-finding
Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients throughout the installation process
Work as part of a team to ensure all projects are completed to a high standard and on time
Maintain detailed records and documentation for each installation where applicable
Mentor apprentices where required
What we're looking for
Current Electrical Work Licence
SAA Accreditation for Solar & Battery Design and Install
Minimum 4 years experience in the installation and maintenance of residential and commercial solar and battery systems
Strong knowledge of solar & battery power system design,
components and installation techniques (or eagerness to learn and upskill)
Ability to read and interpret electrical job cards
Excellent customer service and communication skills
A current driver's licence and reliable transportation
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments
A Solid work ethic
