Job Description

SMP Fabrication Pty Ltd, a leading structural steel and fabrication company is seeking an experienced Pressure Welder to join their growing team in Wauchope, NSW. Key Responsibilities:
Perform pressure welding, fabrication, assembly and repair work
Interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications
Prepare, fit, align and weld components and pipework
Inspect weld quality and undertake repairs where required
Maintain welding records and comply with quality standards
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

Skills and Qualifications
Trade qualification (Certificate III/IV in Engineering Fabrication or similar)
Proven experience in pressure welding
Current welding qualifications/certifications
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable, safety-focused and able to work effectively within a team

Salary range is $75,000 - $90,000pa commensurate with experience. Full time Position available. Application opens on 9th of September 2026 and closes on 9th of October 2026.
