Programmed Maintenance Services – Canberra ACT

This is a senior-level opportunity for a construction professional who has proven experience managing complex projects from planning through to completion, with responsibility for project delivery, commercial outcomes, stakeholders, safety and quality.
n
Please note: Australian Citizenship is mandatory. The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain an NV2 security clearance and must be available to work onsite 5 days per week.
n
About the Role
n
As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
n
Key responsibilities will include:
n
n
Lead the end-to-end delivery of major construction projects
n
Manage project scope, budgets, programs, resources and delivery outcomes
n
Lead project teams, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers
n
Manage project schedules, milestones and deliverables
n
Oversee commercial performance, variations, claims and contractual matters
n
Identify and proactively manage project risks and issues
n
Ensure projects comply with relevant legislation, standards and safety requirements
n
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
n
Monitor project performance, quality, costs and progress
n
Provide regular project reporting to senior management
n
Drive a robust culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement
n
n
About You
n
We are looking for a highly experienced construction professional with:
n
n
Demonstrated experience as a Senior Project Manager within the construction industry
n
Proven experience managing complex,



large-scale construction projects
n
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, contracts and project delivery
n
Experience managing subcontractors, consultants and project teams
n
Strong commercial and financial management skills
n
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
n
Strong understanding of WHS, quality and risk management
n
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects to agreed deadlines
n
Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline
n
