We are looking for an extremely reliable and self-motivated Senior Park Grounds Cleaner to help prepare our beautiful watersports park for the day ahead.
n
This is a peaceful early-morning role in a relaxed outdoor environment—perfect for someone who enjoys working independently, starting early and having the rest of the day free.
n
We are open seven days a week, so this is an significant position that must be completed consistently each morning. We would also welcome applications from a reliable couple who would enjoy working together, although individual applicants are equally encouraged to apply.

About the role
n
Our park covers a large outdoor area, and this position requires walking throughout the extensive grounds while completing all daily cleaning tasks. Applicants must be physically capable of being on their feet for most of the shift, walking considerable distances and carrying out active duties in an outdoor environment.

Your morning duties will include:
n

Sweeping and using a blower throughout the park
n
Wiping and cleaning outdoor tables and seating areas
n
Straightening tables, chairs and other customer areas
n
Emptying rubbish bins and replacing bin liners
n
Moving bins to the roadside for collection
n
Picking up litter and completing general grounds cleaning
n
Checking public areas and ensuring they are clean, safe and ready for guests
n
Reporting any maintenance, safety or cleanliness concerns
n
Occasionally assisting with other light cleaning duties as required
n

About you
n




We are looking for someone who:
n
n
Is exceptionally reliable, punctual and consistent
n
Takes genuine pride in presenting an area to a high standard
n
Can work efficiently without constant supervision
n
Notices the small details and does not walk past something that needs attention
n
Is physically capable of walking throughout a large property, being on their feet for most of the shift, bending, lifting bins and working outdoors
n
Is comfortable starting early in the morning
n
Has their own reliable transport
n
Communicates well and can promptly report any issues
n
Is available for regular weekday, weekend and public holiday shifts as rostered
n
Is willing and able to obtain a Queensland Blue Card if required
n
n
Previous commercial cleaning, groundskeeping, caravan park, resort or hospitality cleaning experience would be highly regarded. However, attitude, reliability and a strong work ethic are most important to us.
n
As this role involves working independently before the park opens, we are particularly interested in applicants with experience, maturity and the confidence to take responsibility for ensuring the entire park is ready for the day.
