About the role
n
Reporting to the Financial Accountant, you will be part of a small, team-oriented payroll team responsible for delivering accurate end-to-end payroll services. The role manages a large employee group across multiple sites and payroll cycles, offering variety and the chance to broaden your payroll expertise.
n This position suits someone who enjoys working in a structured environment, takes pride in accuracy, and is confident managing high-volume payroll tasks.

Key responsibilities include:

End-to-end payroll processing across multiple pay cycles (weekly)
n
Maintaining accurate employee records and payroll data
n
Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and agreements
n
Handling leave calculations, superannuation, PAYG and other statutory obligations
n
Responding to payroll queries in a timely and professional manner
n
Supporting payroll system and process improvements
n
Working collaboratively within a small team and assisting as needed
n

About You
n
n
Demonstrated end-to-end payroll experience (3 plus years experience)
n
Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation
n
Proficiency in Excel and experience with Myob and Kronos would be ideal
n
Ability to interpret awards and enterprise agreements
n
Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail
n
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
n
A proactive and positive approach to teamwork
