JBL Civil is looking for an experienced Concrete Kerbing Labourer / Kerb Machine Operator to join our team for an immediate start.
n
We work across large commercial and civil construction projects throughout the Sunshine Coast and SE Queensland and are looking for someone with previous hands-on experience in machine-laid concrete kerbing.
n
We operate an Arrow kerb machine, so previous Arrow experience would be highly regarded, however experience with other kerbing machines is absolutely fine.
n
The Role
n
Working as part of our civil crew, your duties will include:
n
n
Operating and working alongside our Arrow kerb machine
n
Setting up and preparing for machine-laid kerbing
n
Concrete placement and kerb finishing
n
Edging, tooling, joints and detailed finishing
n
Stringline, levels and preparation for kerb installation
n
Kerb machine setup, cleaning and basic maintenance
n
Assisting with concrete and general civil works when required
n
Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and site safety
n

What We're Looking For
n
You will need:
n
n
Previous concrete kerbing experience
n
Experience working with machine-laid kerbing
n
Valuable concrete finishing skills
n
Understanding of levels, grades and stringlines
n
Experience working on civil and/or commercial construction projects
n
Current White Card
n
Current driver's license
n
Reliable transport
n
Good work ethic and reliability
n
Ability to work well as part of a crew
n
n
Arrow kerb machine experience is highly regarded but not essential.
n
We're particularly interested in hearing from experienced operators who can confidently assist with the setup and operation of a kerb machine with minimal supervision.
