A genuine new business opportunity with an established supplier of premium architectural products, targeting builders, developers and residential projects across Sydney.
We’re looking for a proven BDM / Project Sales professional who knows the residential construction market, has solid industry relationships and enjoys getting out into the market and winning new business.
This is a hands‑on sales role where you’ll identify current projects, open doors with builders and developers, influence product selection and turn opportunities into projects and sales.
The Role:
Identify and target new residential projects and opportunities.
Build relationships with builders, developers, architects and designers.
Develop new accounts and grow project opportunities.
Get involved early in projects and influence product selection.
Manage the sales process from initial contact through to project delivery.
Build and maintain a robust project pipeline.
Attend builder meetings, project sites, showrooms and industry events.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure projects are converted and delivered successfully.
About You:
We’re looking for someone who is commercial,
well connected and enjoys being out in the market developing new business.
Proven experience in BDM, project sales or territory sales.
Solid relationships within the residential construction industry.
A track record of winning new business and opening new accounts.
Experience dealing with builders, developers and/or architects.
A good understanding of the residential construction process.
Solid communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
The drive to manage your own territory and build opportunities from the ground up.
Experience within architectural hardware would be highly regarded, but not essential if you have the right residential contacts.
We would also consider strong sales professionals from related architectural and building product categories including windows & doors, glazing, joinery, or other products sold into residential construction.
