A large Insurance organisation is looking for a technical Business Analyst to support a platform-focused team delivering enhancements to a core system. This role suits someone who can work independently, take ownership of assigned work, and operate confidently in a low-touch environment.
Your new role
Work on a platform team delivering system enhancements
Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements
Support document and data ingestion flows
Work across correspondence systems and APIs
Partner with engineers and architects to ensure solutions are feasible and aligned
What you'll need to succeed
5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst in technology/digital environments
Strong technical BA capability
Experience with system integrations, APIs, and event-driven architectures




Ability to analyse data flows and support data quality improvements
Comfortable working autonomously
Nice to Have
Experience with microservices architectures
Exposure to OCR or document ingestion platforms
Cloud-native or distributed systems experience
Insurance or financial services background
What you'll get in return
This is a 12-month contract prospect offering $900 + super (day rate). The role is based in Brisbane but open to candidates who are Sydney-based.
