The Role
Lead the development and delivery of internal and external communication strategies
Shape and protect the organisation's brand, voice, and reputation
Manage media relations, stakeholder communications, and public messaging
Oversee digital channels including website, social media, and newsletters
Partner with senior leaders to support strategic messaging and organisational priorities
Drive engagement campaigns that connect with tenants, partners, and the wider community
Manage crisis and issues communications with clarity and confidence
Mentor and guide junior team members or external agencies where required
About You
Proven experience in communications, PR, or corporate affairs (ideally within housing, government, or not-for-profit sectors)
Strong writing and storytelling skills,



with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
Confident working with senior stakeholders and providing strategic advice
Experience managing media relationships and navigating complex issues
Digitally savvy, with a solid understanding of content and channel strategy
Organised, proactive, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities
Passion for social impact and contributing to stronger communities
A collaborative team player who brings both creativity and sound judgement
