A well-regarded not-for-profit organisation based in Leederville is seeking a Management Accountant with a strong FP&A; focus to join on a 3-6 month contract, with potential to extend.

About the role
Reporting into senior finance leadership, this role blends core management accounting responsibilities with a strong focus on budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis. You will play a key role in supporting financial operations while partnering with stakeholders to deliver clear, actionable insights.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys both the detail of month-end and the forward-looking aspect of planning and analysis.
Key responsibilities
Prepare month-end journals, including accruals, prepayments and income recognition
Deliver monthly management reports with clear variance analysis and commentary
Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including scenario analysis
Monitor financial performance against budget and provide insights to stakeholders
Partner with budget holders to support cost management and financial understanding
Assist with grant and programme financial tracking and reporting
Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and support period-end close processes
Contribute to process improvements across reporting and planning cycles
About you
CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion




Experience in management accounting with exposure to budgeting and forecasting
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate financial data
Advanced Excel capability, including working with large data sets
Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a collaborative approach
Available to start immediately and commit to a full-time contract
