Accountant
Sydney CBD, Hybrid working. High Growth Environment
We're working with a market-leading organisation based in Sydney CBD to appoint a divisional Accountant into a high-visibility, commercially focused role.
This is not your standard accounting position. You'll sit close to the business, partnering with senior stakeholders, owning financial performance, and playing a key role in driving growth, insight and decision-making.
The role:
Own the Business Unit P&L; and balance sheet, ensuring accuracy, integrity and timely reporting
Deliver high-quality monthly reporting, variance analysis and actionable insights to senior leaders
Partner with operational and commercial teams to influence performance and outcomes
Support budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning cycles
Get involved in strategic initiatives including growth projects, tenders and acquisitions
Drive continuous improvement across processes, systems and reporting
Build strong relationships across finance, operations and leadership
About you:
Degree qualified in Accounting or Commerce, CA/CPA (or working towards)
3-5 years' experience in a commercial or accounting role
Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems
Naturally curious, commercially minded and keen to get into the detail
Strong communicator,
