THE OPPORTUNITY
The purpose of this role is to pro-actively finalise workers compensation claims and manage a portfolio of non-significant workers compensation claims in accordance with EML's guidelines, policies and procedures.
This will be a
full-time, permanent
position based in the
Sydney
George Street office with opportunity to work from home up to 3 days considered from month three, subject to performance and approval.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in reviewing and managing a portfolio of claims, learning how to make sound claims management decisions in line with company policies and procedures
Support the development and ongoing updating of Claims Management Plans (CMPs) to help injured workers return to work safely and sustainably
Help identify potential challenges that may impact return to work outcomes and contribute to practical solutions under guidance from experienced team members
Build a strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies and best-practice claims management over time
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow:
Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook




Background in administration, office support, customer service or a similar role
Ability to learn and confidently use multiple systems in a fast-paced environment
Good time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset and a willingness to take initiative
