About the opportunity
The
Lecturer in Trauma-Informed Psychotherapy
is an education-focused academic role contributing to high-quality teaching, curriculum design, and student learning within the discipline. You will join a collaborative academic team and play a key role in delivering innovative, trauma-informed education informed by clinical practice and scholarship
Your key responsibilities will be to:
work closely with academic colleagues and industry partners to deliver high-quality teaching
deliver and evaluate engaging teaching in trauma-informed psychotherapy
design and develop curriculum, including work-integrated learning activities
supervise and mentor postgraduate students
apply contemporary pedagogical practices to enhance student outcomes
contribute to academic administration and continuous improvement initiatives
About you
master's degree in trauma-informed psychotherapy (or equivalent)
doctorate in a relevant discipline
medical degree and current AHPRA registration
demonstrated clinical experience in trauma-informed psychotherapy
experience in the conversational model
experience in teaching and curriculum development in higher education.
