Your new company
A highly reputable mid-sized national law firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its established Property & Development team in Melbourne. This is a growth role within a high-performing practice, offering exposure to end-to-end property development work alongside a highly regarded partner known for advising on complex and commercially driven projects.
Your new role
You will work across the full life cycle of property matters, including:
Structuring and acquisition of development sites
Due diligence and transaction management
Residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use developments
Subdivision and owners corporation work
Leasing and ongoing asset management
Advising on GST, stamp duty and other property-related considerations
The practice acts for a broad range of clients, including developers (listed and private), investors, financiers and commercial clients, with some exposure to multi-jurisdictional matters and offshore investors.
What you'll need to succeed
Admitted to practice in Australia
Ideally a minimum of 5 + years' PQE in property / real estate law




Strong experience in property development work (highly regarded)
Background from a mid-tier or top-tier firm preferred
Ability to manage transactions and build client relationships
Commercial, proactive approach with strong attention to detail
