Your new role
In this role, you will take ownership of the end-to-end payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely processing across a diverse workforce. You will work closely with HR and Finance to maintain compliance and deliver a high standard of payroll service.Key responsibilities include:
End-to-end payroll processing on a weekly or fortnightly basis
Interpreting awards, EBAs, and employment conditions
Managing payroll deductions including tax, superannuation, and other entitlements
Performing payroll reconciliations and preparing journals for month-end
Supporting year-end payroll processes and reporting requirements
Maintaining data integrity across payroll and HR systems
Responding to employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner
Assisting with system enhancements, upgrades, or implementations
Supporting workers compensation and leave management processes




What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing
Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and awards
Experience with payroll systems
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
