The Supervisor – Economic Development and Investment Projects is responsible for delivering Council's economic development priorities through funded projects, partnerships and strategic initiatives.
The role:
Identifies and secures grant funding and investment opportunities
Leads the delivery of economic development projects from concept to completion
Provides economic analysis, insights and advice to inform decision-making
Works collaboratively with industry, government and internal stakeholders to drive growth outcomes

Essential Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
Tertiary qualifications in Economics, Business, Commerce, Regional Development or related field
Demonstrated experience in:
Economic development
Grants and funding acquisition
Project management
Strong analytical capability and ability to interpret economic data
Experience preparing funding submissions and business cases
Strong stakeholder engagement and partnership skills
High-level written communication (reports, strategies, submissions)
Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
Highly regarded but not essential Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
Experience in regional economic development or local government
Experience in investment attraction or industry development
Strong knowledge of:
State and Federal funding programs
Tourism and visitor economy drivers
Project management qualifications or certification
