The Role
Reporting into the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for end‐to‐end payroll processing for a workforce of approximately 3,500 employees. This is a hands‐on role suited to someone confident working in a high‐volume environment with multiple awards and EBAs.
Key Responsibilities
End‐to‐end payroll processing using Chris21
Maintain accurate employee payroll records
Interpret awards, agreements, and payroll legislation
Manage payroll queries and provide timely resolutions
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PAYG, super, leave, etc.)
Support payroll reporting and audits as required
About You
Proven experience in an end‐to‐end payroll role
Chris21 experience is essential
Experience working with large payrolls (1,000+ employees)
Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
NFP or complex award environment experience highly regarded
