About the role
As a
Specialist Family Violence Practitioner – Brief Intervention
, this is your opportunity to deliver
crisis responses, brief interventions, and targeted support
to adult and child
victim
‐
survivors
experiencing family violence. You will support both Rapid Response and Case Management teams, providing interim outreach, stabilisation support, and service planning for clients with multiple and intersecting needs.

Conditions
Compensation is
in accordance with
SCHADS Level 5.
How you will make an impact




Client engagement through building effective and empowering relationships that uphold the National Family Violence Model of Care.
Brief intervention support through the delivery of crisis responses, interim
assistance
, and targeted interventions for victim survivors.
Assessment and planning by conducting ongoing assessments, developing case plans, and supporting referrals to longer term case management services.
Advocacy and service navigation to
assist
clients in accessing holistic supports, strengthening community connections, and engaging with advocacy pathways.
Record keeping and risk management through maintaining accurate client records, monitoring progress, identifying risks and contributing to continuous service improvement.
What you will bring
Tertiary qualification in Social Work or a related field (essential).
Experience in family violence or child wellbeing (desirable).
Crisis response capability with strong
time
‐
management
and prioritisation skills.
Advanced computer literacy including experience with data and record management systems.
A current Employee Working
with
Children Check
.
A current
Victorian Driver's Licence.
