Contract Cloud Security Architect opportunity working for a leading University

You will be working for a leading University based in Sydney CBD.
Your current role
You will lead the design and uplift of secure, scalable and compliant cloud solutions across Azure and AWS. You will apply modern DevSecOps practices and Zero-Trust architecture to safeguard research, teaching, enterprise, and student platforms in complex ICT environments.
What you'll need to succeed
Demonstrated experience with DevSecOps principles and tooling, including SAST, SCA, and DAST integrated into CI/CD.
Deep expertise in Azure and AWS, including:
Designing secure, scalable architectures using native services
Identity and Access Management (Entra ID/Azure AD, AWS IAM), conditional access, secrets/keys
Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management (e.g.,



IaC with Terraform/Bicep/CloudFormation).
Strong understanding of Zero-Trust architecture principles and hands-on experience applying them in enterprise/hybrid environments.
