The Opportunity
We're partnering with a well-established, values-driven organisation seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their team on a contract basis.
This is an immediate start opportunity, suited to someone who can confidently step into a hands-on, end-to-end payroll role and hit the ground running.
The business is flexible on full-time or part-time (0.8) for the right candidate and offers a collaborative, supportive environment with solid work-from-home options.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-end
fortnightly payroll processing
Managing onboarding, contracts, and terminations
Ensuring payroll compliance, reporting, and statutory lodgements
Processing
superannuation, leave entitlements, and reconciliations
Responding to payroll queries across internal and external stakeholders
Completing payroll reconciliations and supporting month-end reporting
Supporting payroll system maintenance and process improvements
About You
Proven experience in
end-to-end payroll (standalone or lead role)
Hands-on experience with
Employment Hero (essential)
Strong working knowledge of the
SCHADS Award (essential)
Ability to
hit the ground running
in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and accountability
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach




Confident working independently while partnering with the broader team
