The Site Supervisor is responsible for the correct, timely and profitable execution of the project. Lift plan knowledge is mandatory.
The Site Supervisor is responsible for the Crane and Rigging crew onsite, and monthly shutdowns. Previous Supervisor experience, ideally in a mining context with lift plan knowledge is essential. This role is a Monday to Friday role based in Orange. Potential for relocation is on offer for the right candidate.
This position will have commercial responsibility for successful on-site operations, drive continuous process improvements, and hold overall responsibility for site performance and Health & Safety.
Key Responsibilities
Conducting
daily
pre-starts
and
weekly
toolbox with
all
the
crew,
communicating
any
safety alerts,
safety campaigns as and when they arise.
Overseeing
site-based
resource
including
employees
and
subcontractors.
Establishing
and
reviewing
project
manning
plans
and
rotation
schedules
to
ensure
employees
receive adequate rest and roster periods without compromising project staffing levels.
Managing
employee
performance
and
personnel
issues
such
as
absence,
appraisal,
pay
etc.

Experience
Minimum
5-10
years'
experience
as a
Site
Manager within a Crane / Rigging environment is ideal.
Solid
knowledge
and
experience
in
working
in
compliance
with
OH&S;
Legislation.
Extensive
experience
leading
projects, previous exposure to Mining would be highly desirable.
Extensive
experience
in
management
of
contract
,
safety,
cost,
time
and
quality.
