As the Senior Program Manager for the Australian Stroke Alliance,
you'll
lead a transformative $55 million initiative to revolutionise pre-hospital stroke care across Australia.
You'll
oversee the development and implementation of innovative technologies and care models, focusing on rural, remote, and Indigenous communities. Working with a diverse network of over 40 national agencies,
you'll
drive projects that include 'stroke smart ambulances', national
telestroke
systems, and portable brain imaging technologies.
Your responsibilities will include:
Lead Complex Projects:
Oversee the full project lifecycle of the Stroke Smart Ambulance initiative, from initiation to deployment and ongoing service delivery.
Manage Stakeholder Relationships:
Engage with critical partners including health services, ambulance services, and research institutions to ensure project success.
Drive Team Performance:
Lead a team of project managers and coordinate with state-based managers to meet strict timelines and deliverables.
Ensure Program Compliance:
Maintain
project documentation, manage risks, and ensure adherence to funding agreements and strategic plans.
You may be a great fit if:
You are an experienced project manager with a background in health or science,
possessing
excellent stakeholder management skills and a passion for improving healthcare outcomes across diverse Australian communities.
You may also:
Hold tertiary qualifications in a health or science-related discipline with extensive project management experience.
Demonstrate high-level organisational and planning skills, with attention to detail and deadline management.
Have experience in coordinating diverse stakeholders, including government bodies,



researchers, and healthcare providers.
Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to lead strategic advisory councils or working groups.
Be willing to travel interstate, including to rural and remote locations when necessary.
