About the Role
As a Clinical Governance Business Partner, you will be a trusted advisor to the business—leading clinical risk management, supporting quality and safety, and driving continuous improvements.You'll work closely with clinical and operational stakeholders to ensure best-practice governance frameworks are embedded and continuously enhanced.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end management of
clinical incidents, complaints, and adverse events
Support
investigations, risk escalations, and root cause analysis
Drive
continuous quality improvement initiatives
aligned to organisational priorities
Lead
clinical audits, accreditation, and credentialing processes
Support the
design and delivery of clinical governance education and training
Develop and maintain




clinical policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
Analyse clinical data and present
insightful, actionable reports
to stakeholders
Partner with leaders to implement
quality and patient safety initiatives
Monitor and report on
clinical KPIs
, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
About You
You are a Registered Nurse with a strong passion for quality and safety, and the ability to influence outcomes in complex healthcare environments.
You will bring:
Registration as a
nurse
Proven experience in
clinical governance, quality, or patient safety roles
Background in a
hospital or acute care setting
Hands-on experience with
incident management, investigations, audits, or accreditation
Strong
analytical and reporting capability
, with the ability to translate data into insights
Confidence engaging and influencing
internal and external stakeholders
A
proactive, organised mindset
with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
