Permanent part time position (4 days per week) at Star Street Medical Centre, a busy, well-established general practice in Macksville. The Practice Nurse will perform mixed clinical nursing duties and contribute to chronic disease management.
Key responsibilities
Wound care, suture removal, injections, ECGs, spirometry, ABPIs, iron infusions, venesections, and assisting with procedures
Chronic disease management including Health assessments and care plan preparation
About you
Registered Nurse preferred (Enrolled Nurses are welcome to apply)
Nurse Immuniser qualification preferred. Applicants without this qualification must be willing to complete the required training
Compassionate, organised and able to thrive in a busy workplace
Enjoys working both independently and as part of a supportive team
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
Comfortable using computers and learning recent systems
General practice experience is an advantage, but not essential
