We're looking for an experienced, personable Senior Dental Assistant & Receptionist to join our friendly dental team. This is a dual-role position combining chairside assisting with front-desk reception duties, ideal for someone who thrives in a rapid-paced, patient-focused environment.
About the Role
Working part-time or casual hours (flexible days negotiable), you'll be the first point of contact for our patients while also supporting our dentists chairside. No two days are the same — you'll move between reception and clinical support as the practice needs.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and check in patients, manage appointment bookings and recalls
Answer phone and email enquiries, handle patient records and billing
Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment
Maintain infection control standards
Support a smooth, welcoming patient experience from arrival to departure
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a dental assisting and/or reception role preferred
Strong communication and organisational skills
Confident with dental practice management software
A calm, friendly manner with patients of all ages
Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure
Reliable, punctual, and a genuine team player
