About the Opportunity
We're on the lookout for a detail-oriented and organised
Estimator
to join our team. This role plays a key part in supporting our customers and Trade Account Managers by delivering accurate and timely quotes across building projects.
Working closely with Sales, Operations and Contracts teams, you'll ensure a seamless quoting process from initial take-off through to tender submission — making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking to grow their career within the construction or timber/building supply industry.
In this Role, You Will:
Prepare plan take-offs and pricing estimates for building projects
Interpret architectural, engineering, tender and contract documentation
Cost, prepare and manage tenders from start to submission
Work collaboratively with Trade Account Managers to deliver seamless quoting outcomes
Support continuous improvement of estimating processes using estimating software and Office 365 tools
Prepare quotation packages and supporting documentation
Monitor and report on project budgets to ensure accuracy and cost control
Coordinate external services where required to complete plans
What We're Looking For:
Experience in estimating, building materials, or trade/timber sales environments
Strong understanding of construction project stages
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans
Excellent time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication skills,

Proactive mindset with the ability to use initiative
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
