About the role
In this role,
you'l
l
support the planning and delivery of event overlay and infrastructure, contributing to the transformation of world-class venues for the Australian Open ****
.
This is a hands-on role ideal for a recent graduate looking to build their career in drafting, design, and large-scale event delivery.
You'll
collaborate with multiple stakeholders, work on
agile
site plans, and gain exposure to high-profile projects in a
n exciting
sporting and event environment.
In this role you will
be responsible for
:
Support
ing
the planning and delivery of event overlay and infrastructure for the Australian Open and lead-in events
Produc
ing
and
maintain
ing




accurate
AutoCAD drawings in line with established drafting standards
Coordinat
ing
drawing updates with internal stakeholders to ensure all requirements are reflected in plans
Conduct
ing
site visits and
assist
with surveys to
validate
design accuracy against site conditions
Ensur
ing
all drawings are current, compliant, and delivered within project timelines
Contribut
ing
to continuous improvement of drafting processes, tools, and documentation standards
About you
To be successful in this role you will
have
:
A tertiary qualification in Drafting, Architecture, Interior
Design
or a related field
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, including layers,
blocks
and X-referencing (essential)
A solid understanding of drafting standards and documentation practices
High attention to detail with the ability to produce
accurate
, high-quality drawings
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
Confidence working with
diverse
stakeholders
internally and externally
Preparedness to be flexible
in regard to
working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia
