WHS / Safety Officer - 2 week Major Shutdown
Randstad is currently seeking multipleSafety Officersfor a 2-week shutdown project based inTumut, NSW, starting thisOctober.
As the right hand to our Site Managers, you will play a critical role in identifying hazards, assessing risks, implementing controls, and advising on accident prevention and occupational health across day shift operations.

Roster:Day shift only (12-hour shifts)
Pay Rate:$60/hr flat rate

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and implement site-specific Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) plans aligned with client requirements.
Conduct risk assessments, toolbox talks, safety audits, task observations, and site inspections.
Lead incident investigations and complete accurate project documentation.
Provide active safety support and guidance to site contractors.
Build and manage robust relationships with on-site contractors and key stakeholders.
Requirements & Qualifications
Cert IV in Work Health and Safety (WHS)is mandatory.
Previous shutdown experiencein mining, civil construction, or blue-collar/trade environments.
Proven ability to manage safety documentation, audits, and risk management processes.
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to site safety.
