Gate Gourmet , part of gategroup, is a global food service provider delivering premium catering solutions across aviation and corporate environments. We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-focused Catering Assistant to support our onsite team at a flagship corporate location in Sydney CBD (close to public transport).
Shifts: Monday to Friday10:30am - 5:00pm (Part-time )

The Role
You will play a vital behind-the-scenes role in keeping the kitchen operating efficiently and safely. Your focus will be maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation within a professional kitchen setting. Key responsibilities are:
Operate commercial dishwashing equipment
Wash and sanitise crockery, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Sort, stack and store clean items correctly
Maintain adequate stock of clean dishes during service periods
Clean kitchen appliances, surfaces and floors




Monitor and restock cleaning supplies
Dispose of waste and maintain a safe, organised workspace
Follow food safety and Work Health & Safety procedures

About You
We're looking for someone dependable, efficient and comfortable working in a quick-paced kitchen workplace.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow procedures and safety guidelines
Valuable time management skills
Previous hospitality or kitchen experience (highly regarded)
Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (desirable)
Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia
