The Sydney Park Hotel has been a working-class local for decades — the place for a quiet schooner after work or a few locally brewed lagers with mates. Oh, and we love to pour a cracking Guinness!

Following a huge renovation, we’ve reopened with two brand-new levels, a pool hall and a rooftop beer garden , and we’re looking for a Duty Manager to help us take this exciting current chapter to the next level.

The Role

We’re looking for ahands-on, energetic hospitality leader who thrives in a quick-paced, vibrant venue.

Our managers are more than shift runners. You’ll be a leader on the floor, building a robust team, creating genuine connections with our patrons and helping shape the ongoing development of the venue.

You’ll be involved across the business — fromteam leadership, recruitment and training to venue reporting, F&B; operations and menu development — with plenty of opportunity to grow with us.

You’ll bring:
2+ years’ management experience in a similar hospitality venue
Strong food & beverage knowledge
A hands-on leadership style and genuine presence on the floor
Experience training,



motivating and performance-managing teams
Confidence with venue systems, reporting and business operations
Flexibility to work peak service periods, including nights and weekends
A genuine passion for hospitality and a desire to build a career in the industry
A commitment to deliveringexceptional service and memorable guest experiences
Experience in agaming venue preferred but not required as full training will be provided (RCG essential )

Competitive full-time hourly rates — including paid annual and sick leave and overtime rates for hours worked over your contracted 38 hours
