Job Description
A growing renewable energy business is seeking a commercially minded lawyer for an initial three-month contract supporting the rapid delivery of renewable projects across Australia.

This is a hands-on role offering quality commercial work, direct exposure to project delivery, and the possibility of a longer-term or permanent opportunity.

About the role
n
Working closely with the Head of Legal, and the development and delivery teams, you will help execute an established contracting and financing framework across a significant pipeline of projects.

Your work will include:

Reviewing and negotiating customer, supplier and project agreements;
n
Supporting projects through development, construction, financing, grid connection & operations;
n
Ensuring individual projects align with agreed contractual and financing frameworks;
n
Supporting procurement, construction and operational contracting.

The legal framework and master documents are already in place. The focus is now on efficiently progressing multiple projects through delivery.

About you
n
You will be a mid-level lawyer with solid commercial contracting experience and a practical understanding of how project agreements operate.
n
Experience in batteries or renewable energy would be helpful but is not essential. Lawyers from construction, engineering, infrastructure, property, procurement or another project-based setting are also encouraged to apply.
n
You will be commercially focused, comfortable managing multiple agreements, and able to provide clear, timely advice in a growing business.
n
The initial contract will run for approximately three months through to the end of the year, with an immediate commencement, and the potential to transition into something longer term.
