$79,500 per annum + superannuation
Keleah's Early Learning is seeking an experienced and passionate Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our small, supportive team in a full-time Room Leader position.
We are a boutique 23-place early learning service in Terrigal.
Our approach is relationship-focused, play-based and centred around creating a calm, welcoming environment where children feel protected, secure and confident to learn.

About the role
Lead and support educators within the room
Build warm, respectful and responsive relationships with children and families
Plan and implement meaningful, play-based learning experiences
Support children's individual learning, development and emotional wellbeing
Contribute to observations, documentation and educational programming
Support the implementation of the EYLF and National Quality Framework
Maintain high standards of supervision, health, safety and wellbeing
Understand and uphold child protection and mandatory reporting responsibilities
Actively support and embed the Child Safe Standards in everyday practice
Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and uphold the rights of every child
Work collaboratively with the Centre Director, Educational Leader and wider team
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the service
About you
Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification




Experience working within an early childhood education and care setting
Experience or demonstrated capability in leading and supporting a team
Sound knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Framework
Strong understanding of the Child Safe Standards, child-safe practices and child protection responsibilities
Current recognised child protectiontraining/certificationappropriate to NSW early childhood education and care
Current Working with Children Check
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
Willingness to undertake ongoing child safety and child protection training
Willingness to obtain a National Police Check upon request
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
